Turnkey Systems
This donut system is a prime example of the commitment that Air-Draulic Engineering Company makes when we take on a turnkey system.
Donuts are diverted into sugar drums, immediately after passing through a short heating tunnel, which activates the grease only on the surface of the donut.
Donuts are then diverted according to production requirement – in this case, 1/3 is going to wrapper loading, while 2/3 is going to carton loading.
A cleated incline carries the donuts up to feed a scale.
A stainless steel reciprocating hopper works in unison with the scale. The conveyor indexes the cartons, and the hopper loads the mini-donuts into the cartons.
After loading, the cartons pass through a carton shaker conveyor to settle the donuts prior to the carton closer.
Finally, several lines all come together leading to the consolidated packing area shown on the cover of this brochure. This allows operators to work on several lines, with minimal travel between lines.
