Air Draulic Engineering (ADE) is a private, family owned and operated company based in Randolph, Massachusetts. Since 1950, ADE has been providing cutting-edge, solution driven conveyor systems for consumer product manufacturing. We also specialize in a variety of custom metal fabrication products, including but not limited to supporting solids, handling and conveying operations.
The First Solution
ADE is the brainchild of Stephen Gulczynski, a former contract worker, who used to perform odd jobs in Randolph in the 1930s. Gulczynski saw an opportunity to create a solution driven product to support snow plows, which were ill-equipped to deal with extreme snowfall and harsh New England weather. This inspired the young inventor to design and create the air ram cylinder in 1937. The sales and popularity of air ram cylinders in Randolph to a great extent by the late 1940s. This led to the establishment of Air Draulic Engineering in 1950, started by Stephen with the help of his son Frank Gulczynski.
Today, ADE is a leader in the manufacturing and supply of custom conveyor systems and material handling solutions.
